If so, LabCorp wants to speak with you about an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Business Development Executive (RBDE). LabCorp is the Diagnostics leader in market share, as well as key partnerships with health systems in the Pacific Northwest. We're expanding our sales team to grow among larger clinics and FQHCs in the region. The position will be located in Washington.

This position will be responsible for effectively communicating and selling the benefits of LabCorp's clinical diagnostics offerings to practices in the FQHC space, as well as other larger laboratory users. The RBDE position executes our direct sales efforts primarily to the clinic's C-Suite leadership and providers. This is a true hunter role, and the candidate is expected to prospect, develop and close his or her own sales targets on a monthly basis, in tandem with a long term focus required for larger conversion targets. Additional support will be provided by LabCorp's Value Based Care team to help target and network among ACOs, IPAs, CINs, and provider groups in the region.

Due to the COVID health crisis, this position will work primarily remotely. Once restrictions are lifted, the position will require regular regional between 10-30%.

Responsibilities

Sell laboratory testing services to professionals within the Federally Qualified Health Center network of clinics, as well as other larger practices in 4 states (WA, OR, ID, AK)

  • Reach key decision makers in FQHC's and large multi-provider groups to communicate the advantages LabCorp offers

  • Integrate our core strengths with the population health needs and goals of clients, local and state governments, and patients in the region

  • Create and execute a plan for revenue growth incorporating ACOs, IPAs, CINs, and related provider organizations managing Value Based Care arrangements

  • Increase the adoption of Value Based Care data tools among current and future clients

  • Meet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in assigned territory

  • Successfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates

  • Network, cold call, and build a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievement, aided by LabCorp's sales analytics team to assist with targeting

  • Accurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities in-line with monthly and quarterly goals

  • Effectively manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivity

  • Collaborate, communicate and actively contribute to new business opportunities with LabCorp Clinical Sales counterparts

  • Attend local and national professional trade shows and events as requested

  • Collaborate closely with team members to retain current book of business

  • Effectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospects

  • Perform in-services, training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staff

  • Provide ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer base

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Science background highly desired

  • Minimum of 5 years' medical outside sales experience required

  • Previous experience selling directly to Physicians required

  • Previous experience working with, or selling to FQHCs highly preferred

  • Previous laboratory or diagnostics sales experience highly preferred

  • Proven success managing a book of business

  • Ability to collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to grow the business

  • Demonstrated track record of recent success and sales accomplishments

  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills

  • Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature and use extensive and complex clinical data as a key factor in the sales process

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to travel 10-30%
