You will perform with proficiency all routine, standard analyses in assigned areas, understanding techniques, principles, quality control, theory, and instrumentation. You will recognize, troubleshoot and initiate corrective action for most routine problems in a timely fashion. You will carry out supervisor's directives. You will act in the best interests of patient care and LabCorp. Hospital based Generalist position in fast paced 500+ bed hospital. Responsible for automated and manual testing, instrument maintenance. Must recognize, troubleshoot and initiate corrective action for instrument issues. Must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a busy environment and be adaptable to change.

Requirements

Must have a BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or other related science and an ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist plus 1 year of clinical lab experience .
