Laboratory Corporation of America Quality Assurance Analyst - San Antonio, TX in San Antonio, Texas
The ideal candidate will provide customer service to internal and external customers and be able to demonstrate and complete the duties of QA Analyst as follows:
Email box: Complete requests daily (credentials, Ref ranges, licensure, etc), grant CAP website privileges
Mail: Sort and Route daily
Daily Filing: Personnel Records, Proficiency Testing records, other Quality records
NCEs, Main and Branch labs: Daily create error reports for failed PT, distribute to lab supervisors, track for timely completion. Track data, to include Corrected reports, with timely completion. Create error reports for monthly QC exceptions (Interlab, Sysmex), distribute to lab supervisors, track completion. Monthly review Doc Direct and issue QC error reports in PCMS for QC threshold violations.
Personnel Records: Daily maintain Database and binders, report delinquency. Review training and competency assessment records for completeness. Make copies of LPQAs for CA application.
Weekly Monday Orientation: Present Quality, ISO, 5S intro to new hires.
Meetings: Mgt Review, Monthly QA, Branch QA, Continuous Improvement (Tuesdays) - provide data, provide agenda, scribe, send out minutes.
Weekly Internal Audit: Help perform audits, ensure timely report, timely responses, review responses for completeness.
Monthly Inspections: Review reagent lot records for completeness. Review QC records for completeness. Review Instrument Maintenance records for completeness.
Monthly Invoices: Code, submit for payment, track, retain copies (CAP, CLIA, ISO, CA licensure-main lab and satellites- Proficiency).
Monthly QI Metrics, Main and Branch labs: Track data and report, local and corporate QMS. Obtain corrective action for violations and report.
Monthly QC: Provide leadership, provide direction in troubleshooting.
Monthly Manangement Review: Track data and create presentation, scribe.
Annual CAP inspection: Complete General checklist Questions and answers in a binder (pre CAP and self- inspection).
Biennial Application: CAP
Corporate: Provide data to corporate when requested.
License/Certification/Education: B.A./B.S. Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology w/1-2 years of experience. ASCP certification preferred.
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
