Laboratory Corporation of America Laboratory Services Team Leader in Richmond, Virginia

Work involves coordinating the work of other Technologist and Technicians. In addition to performing the functions of Senior Technologist/Technician, this level is responsible for assigning and reviewing work, administering the quality control program, ensuring that schedule time frames are met, advising management of problem areas, assisting in employee actions, acting as liaison with other departments and customers on technical inquiries and test results.

  • Stat Testing

  • QC and Coordinator of Stat and routine testing reporting for Richmond

  • Rotate on call customer support and hours an on weekend

  • Maintain inspection readiness

  • Coordinate

  • Assign and review tech work, administer the QC program

  • Train/perform competency of Stat Lab Technologists, other duties as needed


License/Certification/Education: This position requires all necessary city/state licenses and/or permits to qualify as a Medical Technologist/Technician with a minimum of 6 years experience in a clinical laboratory.

Monday-Friday (9:30am-6:00pm) and Rotating Weekends and on-call rotation
