About the Opportunity: Our LabCorp Call Center in Phoenix, Arizona is expanding its team and looking for dynamic individual to be a Call Center Team Lead. As a Team Lead you will be responsible for the following: * Assist the call center Supervisors with the daily tasks associated with training and leading of (18-20) customer service representatives * Observe new employee performance and report observations to the supervisor * Address any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful manner * Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and making schedule adjustments as needed * Promote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers * Support supervisors with any daily reports and administrative tasks required

Successful candidates will have: * Minimum 2 years of experience as Call Center Team Lead; preferably within Healthcare/Laboratory call center environments * High school diploma or general education degree (GED), 4 year degree preferred * Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively develop, lead, inspire and motivate a high performing team * Solid customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills. * Effective problem solving/process improvement skills used to identify and resolve day-to-day operation and employee training needs * Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business and performance requirements * Medical terminology knowledge and 1+ year medical/laboratory work experience is valued. * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Exceptional MS Office skills including; Excel, Word and Outlook What LabCorp offers YOU: * Medical, Dental, Vision, Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts * Employee Savings Plan (401k) * Career Growth: Customer Support Service Lead are encouraged and developed to grow into Supervisors, Managers and to explore other LabCorp growth opportunities in Lab, Logistics, Accessioning and more.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 4 year degree preferred

  • 1-3 years of applicable experience.
