Laboratory Corporation of America Customer Service-Specimen Management in Phoenix, Arizona

As a customer service rep for the specimen management department, you will serve as a liaison between LabCorp branches or regional laboratories and its hospital customers in response to inquiries and problems. Researches, troubleshoots and resolves customer problems. Performs a wide variety of administrative/clerical duties. This position will include all regular job functions of specimen management, wet lab and dry lab team, which varies. Some functions include, but are not limited to specimen research, specimen handling and aliqote, specimen accessioning, specimen resolution and high use of multiple computer systems.

License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of applicable experience.

  • Requires good data entry skills

  • Good phone etiquette

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Attention to detail and high multitasking skills

  • Able to work overtime and holidays as needed

  • Call center background and/or lab background preferred

  • Experience in Medical terminology preferred

  • Experience in Accessioning a plus




Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, some Saturdays as scheduled
