Exciting Opportunity to be part of the LabCorp/Covance 2021 Global Internship Program as a Genetic Counseling Intern in Philadelphia, PA!

Integrated Genetics Clinical Genetic Counseling program consists of dedicated, hardworking, high performance individuals who support patients through the counseling and testing process.
Internship Assignment Summary:
This position is a 12-week position that will include 30 hours of administrative work and 10 hours of observation. The GC shadowing will be virtual, although it is possible there will be in person sites available in Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York. The project work will be a combination of virtual and in person work in the Philadelphia Genetic Counseling office.
Work under direct supervision and performs general duties as assigned by the designated department
Support the team by performing data entry
Perform a variety of administrative duties for a designated department including clerical and customer service functions
Contributes to a cohesive team environment
Plans individual workload in coordination with team members
Applicants for this position must intend to enroll after completion of the LabCorp Internship in one or more final semesters to finish coursework towards a bachelor's degree.
Academic Programs and Course Requirements:
Completion of the following before the end of spring 2021 semester:
- a minimum of 2 years of coursework directed towards completion of a bachelor's degree in health sciences related field
