Laboratory Corporation of America Hospital Development Executive - Nashville, TN in Nashville, Tennessee

  • As an outside field representative, will manage growth and retention in an assigned territory with additional responsibilities in the growth of new business.

  • Provides ongoing service and problem solving in the assigned territory.

  • Responsible for selling LabCorp testing and related services into hospital reference laboratories in the Southeast Division.

  • The HDE will develop hospital reference laboratory relationships inside hospitals and health systems that do not currently work with LabCorp as their primary reference laboratory.

  • This position is field-based. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new relationships with the leaders inside of the hospital administration responsible for hospital reference operations

  • Target new hospital reference laboratory opportunities for LabCorp

  • Win new hospital reference business opportunities

  • Develop relevant business plans with clearly defined strategies and objectives to deliver year-over-year revenue growth

  • Direct ownership for onboarding new hospital reference laboratory business

  • Responsible for new customer implementation plans from start to finish inside a matrixed organization

  • Work with division and corporate HHS leadership to expand services beyond clinical reference testing. (i.e., Covance, Integrated Oncology, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate LabCorp's health system value proposition with C levels inside hospital administration

Requirements

License/Certification/Education:

  • Normally a B.A./B.S. Degree (preferably life sciences-Biology, Anatomy, Chemistry, Physiology) w/3-5 years of experience is preferred. Normally requires a Valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record.
