Labcorp Sr Manager Pricing in McLeansville, North Carolina

Oversee development and implementation of company-wide processes, activities, systems, and tools related to pricing. Collaborate directly with divisional and niche VP & AVP controllers, pricing directors, pricing managers, customer master supervisors, sales and marketing leads. Responsible for resource allocation, expense management, and implementation and oversight of effective controls. Responsible for General Price Increase (GPI) strategy and related guidelines for divisions to follow. Lead process for Clinical Trials Intercompany charges between labcorp drug development and diagnostics business. Assume responsibility for company-wide pricing strategy related to physician pass through billing.

In this role, the individual will manage an analytical staff responsible for the delivery of pricing services for all hospitals (including government (DoD & VISN)), related GPOs and national client bill relationships (e.g., Telemedicine, Clinics, etc). This position will also have ownership of DoD Reference Lab Services and EGL Customer Master Group. This position will routinely engage directly and have constant exposure with enterprise senior management. Responsibilities include:

  • Leads and influences sales with pricing strategies with specific focus on hospitals, hospital systems, government contracts and national accounts. Revenue for this sector exceeds $700M per year.

  • Provides financial oversight of lab management service agreements. Revenue for this sector exceeds $190M per year.

  • Manage Integrated Oncology Pricing Team and support/influence the Win Big in Oncology company strategy

  • Direct involvement in client negotiation team (inclusive of direct client interactions)

  • Manages pricing resources and coordinates with various stakeholders across the organization in the development and implementation of pricing decisions.

  • Responsible for managing proposal and customer-specific deal deadlines with staff and with internal and external customers.

  • Provides business insight and guidance to the analyst team.

  • Responsible for the execution of large, complex pricing service requests, including request receipt, coordination of information flows between stakeholders, pricing analysis and outcomes modeling, proposal response pricing support, integration activity and pricing implementation.

  • Ensures that pricing proposals follow established pricing company guidelines and policies.

  • Leads Department of Defense (DoD) Reference Lab Services team which assists the DoD with government task orders, customer specific reporting requirements and general customer assistance hotline.

  • Leads EGL customer master and pricing group which assists with Integrated Genetics account generation and maintenance across all applicable systems as well as pricing support.

  • Manages team to provide reporting on KPIs and ad hoc requests.

  • Provides subject matter expertise.


BA/BS Degree with a concentration in Finance, Marketing or a similar field. Minimum of 10 years of related business experience and relevant work experience in the healthcare field

5+ years of supervisory/management experience.

Proficient with Microsoft products including Outlook, MSWord and is at an intermediate level with MSExcel. Proficient with Alteryx preferred.

In depth knowledge of LCLS/LCBS, CRM systems.
