Laboratory Corporation of America Reimbursement Analyst (Revenue Cycle Management) - Remote Available in McLeansville, North Carolina
This position is responsible for analytical support related to Third Party Accounts Receivable and reimbursement issues. Performs analyses, detects billing issues, monitors A/R and denial trends and makes recommendations for corrective action to increase reimbursement.
Conduct detailed analyses of data and information relating to A/R trends and reimbursement.
Summarize research findings into graphs, charts, written summaries and presentations for review by leadership and explain/interpret results upon request.
Collaborate with Managed Care contracting team and Third Party payers to identify areas of improvement to maximize revenue and avoid billing issues.
Provide accurate updates to management on all outstanding payer issue trends as required through defined systems/tracking mechanisms
Meet internal/external deadlines to include follow up on unresolved issues to minimize business risks

Associate Degree Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred
6+ years of experience Required analyzing and manipulating large data sets
Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel
Knowledge of payer contracts, medical terminology, commercial and government health insurance and billing guidelines.
Experience in a revenue cycle healthcare or in a Third Party payer setting
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with SAS, Crystal Reporting, Business Objects or similar tools preferred.
Remote Available Shift 1 -- Schedule Mon- Fri 8AM - 5PM
