LabCorp is seeking an experienced Specimen Processor to work at our main lab in Louisville, KY. Will typically work 5PM-1:30AM M-F and every other Saturday 6:30PM-11:30PM however, this position is a float position that provides coverage at other sites in the Louisville and surrounding area when needed. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be available/willing to work anytime between 7AM-1:30AM. A $2.00/hr float incentive is offered as well as paid mileage.

As a Specimen Processor you will receive specimens in from clients, accession them into the computer systems, process, pour off and prepare them for testing. Will perform data entry to document patient demographics, billing information, specimen types, requirements and all other clinical data. Will also be responsible for packaging and preparing specimens and containers to be sent to other labs. Other duties include providing support to the client, keeping up to date specimen logs, and general inventory.


License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.




Monday-Friday 5PM-1:30AM and rotating Saturdays from 6:30PM-11:30PM. Hours may vary dependent on location being covered.
