California Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist
LabCorp is actively hiring qualified scientific and laboratory operations staff to support growth expansion in our laboratories.
Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for California Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists to join our team of licensed technologists in Los Angeles, CA. Multiple schedules are available including days and shifts.
Shift differentials are offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts

What we do :
The primary focus of our laboratories include:
Screening plasma donations for infectious diseases
Perform genome-wide and targeted genetic analysis services for ancestry and genetic health risks.
Position Requirements :
Must have a current California clinical license in one of the following specialties: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or
Clinical Microbiologist Scientist (CMS) or
Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS).
Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory is preferred.
Work in a clinical laboratory as part of a dedicated team
Independently perform moderate and high complexity clinical tests to
screen plasma donations for infectious disease
Perform clinically relevant rare tests using in-house developed assays.
Perform genotyping to detect clinically relevant variants in genomic DNA.
Demonstrates high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining HIPAA regulations.
Recognize invalid results and perform corrective action as needed
Maintain professional growth through continuing education
Perform maintenance and calibration on instruments as needed
Perform work with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail, as part of a CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified laboratory
Perform basic computer functions.
