Phlebotomist -- Lincoln, NE
LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist at a Patient Service Center in the Lincoln, NE area. This first shift position will have the hours of 8:30am -- 5:00pm, Monday -- Friday, with rotating Saturdays. The candidate must demonstrate strong phlebotomy skills, phlebotomy procedures, and basic knowledge of the cities.
The functions of the Phlebotomy position will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Phlebotomist with 2-3 years' experience and able to demonstrate strong phlebotomy skills.
Blood Collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
Perform Urine Drug screen collections, paternity collections, and biometric screenings
Used for Phlebotomy Coverage as needed.
Strong Customer Service Skills.
Healthcare Experience Preferred
Able to pass a standardize color blind test.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and meet all state and local requirements where the laboratory is located with a valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Our requirements include:
· High school diploma or equivalent, as well as Phlebotomy certification (where required) from an accredited agency
· Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent)
· Valid driver's license with clean driving record
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a patient service technician/phlebotomist
· Proficiency in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections, breath/saliva alcohol testing, LCM/Cyber Tools, TestCup, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws(patients in long-term care
facilities, drug rehabilitation facilities, prisons, psychiatric facilities, or similar
