Laboratory Corporation of America Technologist Customer Service Rep - Houston, TX 77040 in Houston, Texas
Acts as a technical reference within the Customer Service Department while functioning as a liaison between LabCorp and its accounts in response to inquiries and problems. Evaluates new procedures on methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader. Assist in training and orientation of personnel as assigned. In addition assists General Manager with reports and tasks as assigned. Provide, or direct as appropriate, swift and accurate resolution to client inquiries. Support laboratory projects and tracking progress. Work with internal departments and colleagues to gather and distribute performance and financial data. Produce, review and analyze expense and financial data. Produce client reports. Translate integrated Oncology order codes into LabCorp billing codes and CPT codes. Support Branch Operations in processing Pathologist requestes and perform demographic maintenance of XIFIN interface.
License/Certification/Education: This position requires a Bachelors of Science degree w/2 years of experience preferred. ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
Must have exceptional Microsoft Office application skills/Data Entry
Able to originate, extract data and compile spreadsheets and presentations
Must have general knowledge of laboratory operations.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Manager
Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with overtime as needed.
