LabCorp has an exciting career opportunity in Knoxville, TN! We're looking for a Regional Phlebotomy Manager with proven success leading and motivating teams, training and developing others, and driving metrics.

The Regional Manager will lead 8-10 Phlebotomy Supervisors, each of which have 25-30 direct reports in multiple off site locations. This position plays a key role in developing and managing the LabCorp Georgia patient services team.

Responsibilities of the Regional Manager:

  • Demonstrate ability to lead and manage a large group of people.

  • Utilize strategic thinking skills, financial and budget preparation understanding, strategic goal-setting; proven record of achieving desired outcomes to meet organizational goals.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate with customers and drive customer related activities to a positive outcome through customer interaction, active listening, and dispute resolution.

  • Promote leadership development, professional training, and career advancement through seminars, trainings, and presentations. Strong public speaking skills preferred.

  • Capability to develop cross-functional relationships and work in an environment where influence outweighs authority.

  • Leadership experience guiding direct reports through performance, goal-driven outcomes, interviewing and selection experience for a minimum of 5 years.

  • Some travel required with overnight stays

  • Partner with divisional leadership on all department initiatives, policies, processes, and procedures; ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented in the region in compliance with state and federal regulations and company mandate.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree, or higher education

  • Proven leadership and good decision making ability in a fast paced environment

  • Experience managing a team in multiple off site locations

  • Ability to create and maintain customer relationships

  • Previous customer and patient interaction

  • Operational experience required

  • Phlebotomy experience required, preferably in a reference lab environment

  • Proven success in coaching, developing, mentoring teams

  • Proactively drive positive change within the department and the organization

  • Track record of understanding and adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements
