We are looking for an experienced Medical Lab Technician for our Special Chemistry department in the Dublin Laboratory. This position will perform both automated and manual testing, and will involve detailed result interpretation. Prior experience with DSX, Immunofixation, flow cytometry and hemoglobin fractionation preferred.
Job Duties include:
Prepping samples and loading instrumentation
Performing manual and automated testing, including flow cytometry, hemoglobin fractionation, Immunofixation, electrophoresis, among others
Result interpretation and release
Accurately and legibly record all specimens received and verify proper ID in accordance with department guidelines
Tests specimens completely and accurately within established time frames and according to SOPS
Enters and reports all results correctly and within all established time frames
Ensures the accurate testing of specimens by conducting and docuenting quality assurance procedures
License/Certification/Education: An Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent preferred w/1-3 years experience.
Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm; One Saturday every 4 weeks
