LabCorp has an exciting opportunity for a National Sales Executive to represent the Company within the transplant market. The ideal candidate will have established transplant center and registry relationships and an understanding of HLA typing technology.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales objectives and conducting high level territory business development and account management for LabCorp's transplant product testing portfolio. Responsibilities include sales, business planning, client pricing and RFP input, conference participation, and collaboration with sales, scientific, and customer service teams. This is a national field-based position to support our transplant testing (performed in Burlington, NC). Candidates can be located anywhere in the US.
Create and implement strategic territory sales plan to achieve revenue objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients
Communicate technical product information
Collaboratively work across functional departments and sales organizations
Establish high level business development partnerships
Create and execute marketing plans effectively
Manage budgets and expenses within guidelines
Contribute to market and competitive analyses
Complete administrative requirements timely and thoroughly
Ensure compliance with all regulatory/company requirements and guidelines
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Scientific field
Minimum 5 years of experience in life sciences sales or clinical laboratory testing / diagnostics sales
HLA or NGS experience preferred
Proven track record of success
Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific data and use it effectively in the sales process
Ability to exhibit product proficiency, active listening, effective communication and consultative sales skills
Ability to travel 50%
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customer base, co-workers, and across multiple functional areas
Ability to develop and work with industry thought leaders
Training experience preferred
Self-sufficient individual who can seek out new opportunities independently
Superior time management and project prioritization abilities. Must be able to make practical decisions with minimal direction to achieve budget goals.
