Integrated Genetics is seeking a motivated, self-starter to provide pre-conception genetic counseling for a busy Reproductive Endocrinology practice in downtown Chicago. This individual will also be key to identifying and developing innovate services to improve the patient experience, and have an opportunity to participate in educational and research initiatives.

In this job you will:

  • Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications, including counseling couples experiencing infertility and individuals undergoing cutting edge IVF treatments with preimplantation genetic testing. .

  • Serve as the genetics expert for the practice, supporting the physicians and patients in all aspects of genetic risk assessment and evaluation.

  • Engage in professional growth opportunities such as research projects to submit abstracts to professional educational meetings or publications to professional journals, providing physician education and other projects

  • Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling colleagues

  • MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling

  • ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required

  • IL state genetic counseling license, or eligibility to obtain IL license

  • Previous genetic counseling experience preferred
