Laboratory Corporation of America Remote Salesforce Administrator in Burlington, North Carolina


LabCorp Diagnostics is searching for a Salesforce Administrator to play a critical role in the planned launch of The person filling this role will be a member of the LabCorp Diagnostics National Sales Administration team.

The Salesforce Administrator will act as a business side system administrator for and other Salesforce related processes and initiatives. The Salesforce Administrator will:

  • Collaborates with the business and end users and other stakeholders to understand and document system requirements

  • Develops and owns the roadmap for LabCorp Diagnostics Sales and other stakeholders

  • Collaborates with IT on configuration, testing and acceptance of new features

  • Provides training and support to end users related to the platform

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as "super user" for LabCorp Dx CRM system, possessing full knowledge of the system and associated tools, including functionality, troubleshooting and administrative support

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with all functional areas using, including Sales, Client Services, Marketing, and Finance etc.

  • Communicates regularly with SFDC Business Owners and IT systems leadership to ensure functionality meets the needs of the end users

  • Serves as key member of the National Sales Administration CRM team

  • Facilitates and supports the Governance Process for LabCorp Dx

  • Performs daily operations of the system, including

  • Setups and maintenance of role-based access via profiles and permissions

  • Monitors feedback within the system and responds to end-user queries

  • Serves as first-line contact for end-users and Technology Team

  • Coordinates training programs, including working with the Director, CRM Administration and Implementation to identify new features, functionality and training needs.

  • Provides administrative support for end users

  • Assists with the development and documentation of business and functional requirements and all implementations related to stand alone functionality and system integration needs, including testing of new enhancements and documentation

  • Designs and manages workflows, new screens, fields and reports

  • Liaise with IT technical resources related to system support and expansion, (i.e. Single Sign On, legacy system integration, mobile platform, etc.)

  • Maintains and communicates system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity

  • Regularly audits data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement

  • Maintains updated system documentation and SFDC policies/procedures

  • Up to 20% of the Salesforce Administrator's time may be dedicated to responsibilities unrelated to the platform


BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar Active appropriately related Salesforce Administrator Certifications.

Recommended Experience

  • 3+ years platform experience; Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Einstein (Tableau CRM)

  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification(s), Strong preference given to individuals with multiple certifications

  • Prior CRM or Sales Enablement experience working with end users

  • Familiarity with other CRM and sales enablement platforms such as MS Dynamics,

  • Prior experience in Sales Operations or Sales Enablement in laboratory, diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical or life sciences.

  • Prior experience as a business analyst or systems analyst.




M-F 8 am-5 pm with occasional accommodations for travel or working with partners in different time zones.
