LabCorp is seeking a Lead Project Analyst/Engineer for it's Burlington, NC location.
This senior Talend ETL developer will be responsible to develop big data jobs and maintain solutions within our HDFS cluster. Candidate must have an experience with Big Data batch jobs and Big Data streaming job with any messaging queues like JMS. In addition, you'll work with team members to mentor other developers to grow their knowledge and expertise. You'll be working in a fast-paced and high-volume processing environment, where quality and attention to detail are vital.
Candidate must have experience in:
8+ years of ETL development experience
Must have at least 4 years of Talend Big Data experience
Strong end-to-end solution design skills
Create Big Data Batch and Big Data Streaming jobs with spark
Must have experience to read queue from MQ (JMS)
Parse XML message payload into semi structured format and JSON
Must have experience with data loads into relational database (Oracle/DB2) and Hadoop
Familiar with parse/process pdf in base64 format
Excellent problem solving skills
Knowledge in health care is preferable
Experience in formulating the ETL Architecture and Strategy
Experience in Design for various components of Talend
Ability to design and develop complex ETL Processes and identify areas of optimizations
Experienced in Testing, Debugging and Performance Tuning of any ETL bottlenecks
Extensive SQL experience (queries, joins, etc.) and RDMS databases
Understanding of Big Data ecosystems experience a requirement
Good knowledge of context variables, parallel processing in Talend
Understand requirements and create low level design documents
Creating test data through automated scripts and Testing of the Talend code
Development will include processing Mainframe, DB2, XML and Json Processing
Experience in Real Time processing and Big Data tools like Hive, Spark
License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.S. Degree in Computer Science w/7+ years of experience.
