Our Broadview Heights, OH branch is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team as a Team Lead.

The schedule for this position will be: Monday-Friday 4PM-12:30AM. May also work 1-2 weekends per month. Must be able to work overtime.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Assist the supervisor with ensuring efficient workflow within the department * Guide and assist employee's regarding department processes & procedures * Order supplies * Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing * Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas * Accurately identify and label specimens * Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities * Meet department activity and production goals * Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples * Data entry of QA and patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Resolve and document any problem specimens

Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent * At least 1-2 yrs experience working in a clinical lab or other production based environment * Team Lead or other leadership experience strongly preferred * Ability to accurately identify specimens * Experience working in a team environment * Strong data entry and organizational skills * High level of attention to detail * Ability to lift up to 40lbs. * Ability to pass a standardized color blind test


License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of applicable experience. Normally requires a Valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record.




M-F 4pm-12:30am with weekends as needed
