Requirements: License/Certification/Education: Normally a B.A./B.S. in Biology, Histology, Medical Technology or relatable life science to include completion of 16 credit hours of Biology, 16 credit hours of Chemistry, and 3 credit hours of math. Will also require a minimum of 7 years experience in a Cytogenetics laboratory (5 of which in Chromosomes) at the Technologist level or above. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity is highly preferred.
Job Description:
The Center for Molecular Biology and Pathology is seeking a Supervisor for the Cytogenetics department! This position will have second shift hours from 3pm – Midnight, Tuesday - Saturday.
The Cytogenetics Supervisor will provide leadership in the Chromosomes department. In addition to the day to day supervision of department personnel and procedures, the Supervisor role will include interaction with our customers and clients; slide logistics; reporting for Technical Directors; and other administrative tasks as requested by Management.
