Job Description: 
The Calibration and Instrumentation Technician manages and maintains Monogram&amp;#39;s calibration program to support a CAP/CLIA-certified diagnostic laboratory specializing in proprietary therapy guidance applications. This position is in the Automation/Engineering Team in Monogram&amp;#39;s Process Development Group. The duties and expectations include:
* Maintain and monitor Monogram&amp;#39;s calibration database as well as hardcopy equipment files.
* Calibrate (or coordinate with appropriate vendors) all instruments supporting production labs and production facilities.

Job Description: 
The Variant Scientist is responsible for the daily processing and analysis of genetic variants and for overseeing the work of two technicians, who will help with the tasks. The Variant Scientist must process and score variants in accordance with company SOPs; maintain communication with laboratories located within or outside Correlagen; maintain tracking documents in relation to the variant-scoring process; report daily to a supervisor on the variant processing status and performance; communicate with the Laboratory Directors regarding clinically relevant variants or the need to develop and implement new scoring rules. The Variant Scientist will also actively interact with Scientific Writers regarding new gene tests and will interact with the Software group regarding technology needs. There will also be opportunities for the Variant Scientist to take part in company writing projects as needed. Key skills for this position are: organization, meticulousness, ability to critically read and understand scientific publications, ability to write well, ability to meet deadlines and work in a dynamic setting, and ability to learn and adapt to use of bio-informatic software.
