Requirements: License/Certification/Education:Bachelor’s Degree is preferred w/1-3 years of verifiable supervisory experience in a laboratory/hospital setting preferred. Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills a must and proficient with computers.
Job Description: Supervises 15+ non-exempt specimen processors/data entry over two shifts between 5:00pm and 2:00am (hours may vary) in meeting tight deadlines within strict quality parameters. Drives business results and ensures timely send out of specimens to main laboratory in Tampa. Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly while maintaining positive team in a fast pace environment. Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, coaching and mentoring employees. Has comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety. Responsible for time and attendance records, and employee appraisals.
