Job Description: 
Provides first-level technical support to the company for user inquiries and system security. Assists users with log-on problems, reinstating revoked security, and changes in access privileges. Troubleshoots system errors and lockups, and answers how-to system security questions. Routes second-level system questions to the appropriate individual/department. Processes all mainframe security requests and purchase approval security requests.
Prepares, maintains, enters tracks and coordinates client product requests for LabCorp Client Products. Maintains and edits departmental databases completely, accurately, and efficiently. Maintains deletions in Access databases for lost accounts, to include, but not limited to tracking returned equipment, removal of phone line, and notification to other departments as needed. Interacts with all memebers of the IT Dept for various clerical and customer service functions, acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers when needed. Responsible for answering and routing of incoming phone calls as needed for the department. Must have the ability to type and coordinate miscellaneous projects with the use of Microsoft Office 2007, Responsible for maintaining departmental office supplies as needed. Strong working knowledge of Access required including, creating/editing tables, forms, queries, charts and reports as needed. Responsible for ordering and deleting all telephone/data lines for client products.
