Requirements: Basic requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
* At least 4 years of QC experience.
* Experience with enterprise-level automated testing tools (ex. Team Foundation Server (TFS-Test Manager), Quality Center, QTP, or LoadRunner)
* Good understanding of software QA/QC methodologies or guidelines for integration testing, regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing
* Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
* Good understanding of testing web-based solutions.
* Sufficient knowledge of the query language T-SQL or other ANSI-standard SQL syntax.
* Familiar with enterprise-level work item or ticket management systems for communicating defects (ex. TFS)
* Must have strong communication skills.
* Must be a team player with a good attitude who is eager to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Preferable experience:
* MS SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
* Good understanding of automated regress-testing
* Familiar with developing performance and load testing
* Familiar with parameterized automatic testing (UI-coded testing).
* Familiar with “Record & Play” methodologies.
Proficient in breaking down requirements into test cases and developing QA test plans and test strategies
Job Description: Description:Litholink Corp., a small entrepreneurial business unit of LabCorp, has an immediate opportunity available for a QA Analyst to join their internal and highly specialized team.
This individual will be working closely with various stakeholders in every software development lifecycle including but not limited to Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Software Architect, and power users. Primary responsibilities include the creation of test plans and test scenarios tailored to our cutting-edge clinical decision support software solutions for the medical field and research. Other responsibilities encompass the assurance that developed software meets user requirements, continuous analyzing and improvement of automated testing, as well as reporting test results to all stakeholders. The work environment is dynamic and challenging, yet casual. The right candidate must be a team player who works well without supervision, has the ability to work on multiple projects and can organize and prioritize their work to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
